Automobile production declined in January, the vehicle manufacturers association (Anfavea) says

The Brazilian automotive industry produced 221,800 vehicles in January, down 11.4% from the same period in 2011. This figure is broken down into 207,300 light vehicles, 3,400 trucks and 1,100 buses.
